1) What do the 'size', 'quality' and 'value' columns mean?

These columns are located next to each item to provide additional information for the customer.

Size: Indicates the size of each item

  S = Small   M = Medium L = Large
  S/M = Small Medium   M/L = Medium Large XL = Extra Large

Quality: Rates the relative quality of each item using a 5-star system.

    Ordinary
    Good
    Very Good
    Excellent

The rating is generally based on seasonal factors and weather conditions in growing areas.
For example, if strawberries are not in season, or perhaps subjected to heavy rain then they
may be rated as ordinary, therefore 2 stars .
Please note that we will always endeavour to buy the best quality that is available at the
markets each day.

Value: Rates the value of each item, being either ordinary, good, very good or excellent.

This rating is also generally based on seasonal factors and weather conditions in growing areas.
For example, if strawberries are scarce at the markets, they will be expensive and might be
rated as 'ordinary' value. On the other hand, if they are plentiful, they would probably receive
an 'excellent' value rating.

2) What time do you deliver?

At present we are unable to provide an exact delivery time on our website. We aim to be able to do this ASAP. Generally, deliveries are made between 3pm and 7pm. If you would like to know a more precise delivery time, please contact us or leave a note 'please advise delivery time' in the delivery instructions when ordering.

3) What if I am not home when you deliver?

As long as there is somewhere safe to leave your box you do not need to be home when we deliver. If you choose to pay by Cash on Delivery then please let us know in the 'Delivery Instructions' where you intend to leave payment - under the doormat or in the letterbox are good places.

If you live in a security building and will not be at home, it may be best to have the box delivered to your workplace, or maybe there is a garage/car space where we can leave your box.

4) What should I do if there is a mistake with my order or an unsatisfactory piece of produce?

Please contact us and let us know. Inevitably we will make mistakes, although hopefully not very often. We are more than happy to compensate you either by replacing the item(s) or refunding your money.

5) Are my details rented or sold to any third party?

We place the highest priority on your privacy and will not under any circumstances pass on your details to a third party. Please view our Privacy Policy for more details..

6) Is there a minimum order amount?

The minimum order is $30.

7) How do I pay?

You can choose to pay either by using our secure credit card payment facility, or Cash or Cheque on Delivery. Our drivers carry change, but it would be appreciated if you could have as close to the correct money as possible. Cheques are made payable to sydneyfresh.com.au. You may also pay via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Please contact us for A/C details.

8) What do I do with my empty boxes?

We are happy to collect your empty delivery boxes. Please leave them out for collection with your next delivery.
